Missed Appointments
We are currently facing extreme pressure and abuse in General Practice over appointment availability, yet, in the last week we had 147 patients who failed to attend their appointment. If you no longer need to be seen please cancel your appointment in advance so these can be offered to other patients who require attention.

Get Vaccinated. Get Winter Strong.
Flu and Covid-19 vaccines reduce the risk of you or your loved ones becoming seriously ill in the colder winter months, vaccination is quick and simple and will offer protection from Flu + Covid-19 which can be very dangerous and even life-threatening.

Vaccinations - Starting University?
If you're starting college or university, you should make sure you've already had:
- the MenACWY vaccine – which protects against serious infections like meningitis. You can still ask your GP for this vaccine until your 25th birthday.
- 2 doses of the MMR vaccine – as there are outbreaks of mumps and measles at universities. If you have not previously had 2 doses of MMR, you can still ask for the vaccine.
- the HPV vaccine – which helps protect against genital warts and cancers caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), such as cervical cancer.
Patient Participation Group (PPG)
The Patient Participation Group (PPG) gives practice staff and patients the opportunity, where possible, share decision-making in the running of the practice. To provide for patients to make positive suggestions about the practice, and be an advocate for patient preferences when appropriate.
