It will be compulsory for all patients coming to the surgery to wear a face covering at all times to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus to other patients and staff. Face coverings are different to face masks in that they can be homemade, made of cloth, and be reusable. Do you feel like you need more time with your Doctor? Are you aware that you can book a double appointment if needed? Please ask the receptionist when booking who can look to arrange this for you

  

Travel Clinics  

To avoid dissapointment please book an appointment with the nurse at least 6 weeks in advance of your intended date of travel. Last minute travellers will be redirected to a paying travel clinic

58 patients booked an appointment in August 2020 which they failed to attend.

Whilst we are pleased you feel better can we remind you to please notify the practice If you are unable to keep your appointment so that it may be offered to someone else. Non-attendance and cancellations at short notice deprives other patients of essential medical services.

Health Help Now enables the user to select their symptom or need, and then locate their closest service based on the recommendation made by local GPs, paramedics, psychiatrists, hospital doctors and other health professionals. Health Help Now also offers a wide range of advice for common symptoms in all age groups.

 

Health Help Now is time and location sensitive, which means that whatever time of day or night and wherever the user is, the user can see where their nearest service is and what the opening hours are. Users can find details of services such as their GP practice, nearest pharmacy, walk-in-centre, and minor injuries unit to name a few. The web-app also gives phone numbers to a range of helplines, such as DentaLine, the Dementia Helpline and HopeLineUK, for teenagers with suicidal thoughts.
